Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were just great in a very peaceful location, though there was some slight noise due to the location. They could have been a bit more modern, but overall very clean. The only downside was finding a bottle of cigarette butts outside the door/window to the building that led from our room.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative experiences. The location was stunning, offering beautiful views and easy access to the surrounding nature. The rooms, while clean, were quite small and had issues with rusty water in the hot tap. The service was friendly and efficient, making my stay pleasant overall. The dining options were good, although a bit limited. The facilities were decent, but there were some surprises like being located above the bar without prior notice.
The hotel was in a beautiful area with all the essentials; rooms were lovely with a big TV to watch soccer games and staff very friendly, especially the waitress who served our food. However, the room was very small and smelled of dampness, and the shower area was dirty.
I woke up to a beautiful view from the balcony in the morning, and my room was spacious, modern, clean, and cosy. However, it wasn't exactly as expected from the photos when I checked in, and it was a bit too warm being situated beside the door and in front of the elevator.
The hotel is set in a beautiful valley at the foot of Arklow, in the lovely Vale of Avoca, offering a great location with plenty of walks and attractions a short drive away. The rooms were very old and had a moldy smell, but we managed to switch to a slightly more comfortable one that suited our child's special needs. The service was top-notch with warm and attentive staff. The dining experience, especially for a vegetarian, was rather disappointing. Overall, a place I would consider staying at again for its location and friendly service.
